One system for registers, marks, report cards, fees, payroll, online learning and parent messages, set up for Kenyan schools in Nairobi, Mombasa, Kisumu, Nakuru, Eldoret and beyond.
- KNEC assessments
- Fees and accounts in Kenya shillings
- Works on any phone, even on slow internet
- Free for 7 days, no card needed
Built around the Kenyan curriculum
Kenyan schools are moving from 8-4-4 to the Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC), with national assessments run by KNEC. IWAT lets you set your own grading scales and performance levels for each class level, so CBC rubrics and the remaining 8-4-4 classes can be graded side by side.
Assessments can be grouped into sets such as opener, mid-term and end-term exams, weighted the way your school decides, and report cards show the levels and comments parents expect.
Fees and payments in Kenya
Our built-in mobile money connection today supports MTN Mobile Money and Airtel Money. M-Pesa is not built in yet, so Kenyan schools record M-Pesa and bank payments at the fees desk, where receipts still go out automatically. Talk to us if you need an M-Pesa integration.
Outside Uganda, plans are USD 120 (up to 300 learners), USD 250 (up to 800) and USD 450 (up to 1,500) a term, with 7 days free. Your school keeps its own books and fees in Kenya shillings.
