Two ways to use Moodle with IWAT
- Our shared Moodle. The quickest route. A school presses “Turn on Moodle” in its settings and is ready in minutes. Every few minutes changed courses are copied across, and learners and teachers are enrolled.
- Your own Moodle. Universities and colleges that already run Moodle connect it with a web-service token. IWAT keeps accounts and courses in step with your records, and our plugin copies content.

Do you need Moodle at all?
Many primary and secondary schools are better served by the LMS built into IWAT, which needs no extra accounts and sends marks straight to report cards. Frequently asked questions
How much does Moodle hosting cost?
Moodle on our shared server is included in the Learning plans (from UGX 300,000 a term) and in the Premium school plan. Dedicated Moodle servers, migrations and custom plugins are quoted per project.
Can you move our existing Moodle courses?
Yes. We can back up and restore courses from your current Moodle or connect to it directly and keep it in step with IWAT.
Is Moodle on IWAT safe?
Each school has its own category and accounts. The server is kept updated, backed up, and protected behind Cloudflare.
